Whats up summer 2018?
¿Que tal el verano 2018?
Summer likes everyone. But there is data about the summer that we would like to know to enjoy it better. This summer 2018 will last exactly 93 days and 16 hours. It will end on September 23th, 2018 with the arrival of autumn.
As you all know, summer is the longest season of all, this is due to Kepler's Second Law: "the line joining the Earth to the Sun sweeps equal areas in equal times, because the Earth is now in its most remote positions. to the Sun, it moves with less speed, which translates into the longest duration of the summer compared to the other three seasons ".
As every year we are going to have some interesting astronomical phenomenas:
Three eclipses that will take place on:
- July 13th (partial solar eclipse), visible from southern Australia and from the Antarctic coast.
- July 27th (total eclipse of the Moon), visible from Europe, South America, Africa, Asia and Australia.
- Finally on August 11th (partial solar eclipse) visible from northern Europe and northeastern Asia.
Three full moons: (and apparently very full by the proximity of the moon)
- June 28th
- July 27th
- August 26th
And more ....
During the sunrises of this summer Venus and Jupiter will be visible, while Mars will be visible at dawn at the beginning of summer and at sunset from August.
Also our expected Rain of Perseids, it will be worth observing this meteor rain for being the most important of the summer. This summer the maximum activity of the rain, on August 12, will take place one day after the new moon, with the sky very dark.
However, it will not be such a good year for the Delta Acuáridas of July 30, just three days after the full moon.
As always, the sky will give us the best free shows of summer times :)
¿Que tal el verano 2018?
El verano nos gusta a todos. Pero hay datos sobre el verano que nos interesaría conocer para disfrutarlo mejor. Este verano 2018 durará exactamente 93 días y 16 horas. Terminará el 23 de septiembre de 2018 con la llegada del otoño.
Como todos sabési el verano es la estación más larga de todas, esto se debe a la Segunda Ley de Kepler: "la línea que une la Tierra al Sol barre áreas iguales en tiempos iguales. Por encontrarse ahora la Tierra en sus posiciones de mayor alejamiento al Sol, va moviéndose con menor velocidad, lo que se traduce en la mayor duración del verano respecto de las otras tres estaciones".
Como todos los años vamos a tener algunos fenómenos astronomicos interesantes:
Tres eclipses que darán lugar:
- el 13 de julio ( eclipse parcial de Sol), visible desde el sur de Australia y desde la costa antártica.
- El 27 de julio ( eclipse total de Luna) , visible desde Europa, Sudamérica, África, Asia y Australia.
- Por último el 11 de agosto (eclipse parcial de Sol ) visible desde el norte de Europa y noreste de Asia.
Tres lunas llenas: (y por lo visto muy llenas por la proximidad de la luna)
- 28 de Junio
- 27 de Julio
- 26 de Agosto
Además ....
Durante los amaneceres de este verano serán visibles Venus y Júpiter, mientras que Marte será visible al amanecer al principio del verano y al atardecer desde agosto.
También nuestra esperada Lluvia de Perseidas ,valdrá la pena observar esta lluvia de meteoros por ser la más importante del verano. Este verano la máxima actividad de la lluvia, el 12 de agosto, tendrá lugar un día después del novilunio, con el cielo muy oscuro.
Sin embargo no serà tan buen año para las Delta Acuáridas del 30 de julio, tan solo tres días después del plenilunio.
Como siempre el cielo nos brindará los mejores espectáculos gratis de este verano :)
