Every month of August comes the news of the anniversary of the death of Marilyn Monroe (Norma Jeane was her real name). Marilyn Monroe was found unconscious in the bedroom of her home in Brentwood (California) by her housekeeper, Eunice Murray (m.1993), after eleven o'clock on Saturday night, August 4th, 1962. Moved to the nearest hospital, nothing could be done for his life. That's what one of the history versions . Although other version says that when she found her she was already dead.

It was not my purpose to enter into the mystery of her death, although it must be said that it is full of contradictions ... The press said it was a suicide and the autopsy doctor result said there were no remains of pills on his body .. schedules doesn't fit either.

According to the most recent studies, they say that Robert Kennedy ordered his murder shortly after the artist threatened to call a press conference in which she would explain the romance that, at the same time, had with him and his brother, the president of the United States.

That was a time full of glamor and mystery.

I'm not saying that this kind of mystery is perfect but it fits perfectly with the life of the great divas of past time, the great stories and the great legends. When the pictures of Marilyn Monroe come out on television or in the press, I can not avoid thinking about the incredible glamor of garments they wore . Marilyn Monroe fue hallada inconsciente en el dormitorio de su casa de Brentwood (California) por su ama de llaves, Eunice Murray (m. 1993), pasadas las once de la noche del sábado 4 de agosto de 1962. Trasladada al hospital más cercano, no pudo hacerse nada por su vida. Eso es lo que cuenta una de las versiones. Otras dicen que cuando la encontró ya estaba muerta.

No era mi próposito entrar en el misterio de su muerte, aunque hay que decir que está lleno de contradicciones...La prensa dijo que era un suicidio y el médico de la autopsia dijo que no habían restos de pastillas en su cuerpo.. tampoco los horarios encajan.

Según los estudios más recientes, dicen que Robert Kennedy ordenó su asesinato poco después de que la artista lo amenazara con convocar una rueda de prensa en la que daría cuenta del romance que, al mismo tiempo, mantenía con él y con su hermano, el presidente de Estados Unidos.

Y esque esa era una época llena de glamour y de misterio.

No digo que ese tipo de misterio sea perfecto pero encaja perfectamente con la vida de las grandes divas de la época, las grandes historias y las grandes leyendas. Cuando salen las fotografías de Marilyn Monroe por la televisión o la prensa no puedo evitar en pensar sobre el íncreible glamour que tenían las prendas con las que vestían. En el íncreible glamour que tenías las actrices de los años 30 y 40 (aunque el fenómeno Monroe fuera ligeramente posterior), como Marlene Dietrich, Jean Harlow o Joan Crawford, que a pesar de la segunda guerra mundial (1939-1946), toda Europa tenía girada su cabeza hacia ellas como las grandes estrellas de Hollywood.

Como el objetivo de los estilistas de la época era ensalzar la belleza de las mujeres, buscando un vestuario que ensalzara los atributos naturales de las estrellas hasta el punto en que lo convertían en su propia imagen personal. Fundían persona y aspecto. Creaban mitos.

A principios del siglo XX la silueta de la mujer era en forma de "S".La mujer era un ornamento, una flor, una joya, el pelo era ondulado ahuecado, recogido y coronado por elaborados sombreros. Los vestidos ya no eran encorsetados, siguiendo la tendencia del Art Noveau, la emancipación de la mujer y su integración en el mundo laboral.
