Una Escuela para todos

In developed countries it seems obvious to us that children can have a school for their proper training, whether public or private, but unfortunately that is not the case in many corners of this planet.

That was the case of Keov Mony Pursat village - Cambodia-, until a group of people aware of this need looked at them and found solutions. The Ajudantajudar Foundation are the promoters of this great initiative (Helpingtohelp.org).
The village of Keov Mony is located in the province of Pursat, about 200 km from Phnom Penh, the capital of the country.It is a village formed by returnees from the UNHCR refugee camps (UN Refugee Agency) located in Thailand
From 2012 to 2014, the teacher at the request of the parents of the village, taught in the lower part of her house, for children from 2 to 6 years old.

In July 2014, five young volunteers from Barcelona built the small school in the village, with an approximate cost of 2,700E, which they raised by selling roses. They traveled to Cambodia and built the new school on the grounds of the teacher's house.

Since then, numerous actions have been carried out to continue raising funds, improving facilities and providing material for children.

The initiative is spectacular and any kind of help that could favor them will always be welcome.

• Material for personal hygiene (towels, glasses, toothbrush and toothpaste, individual soaps)
• Staff to serve 40 children: - A teacher - An assistant
• A daily basic meal for the little ones
• Pharmacy
• Various emergency repairs
• Shoes and clothes for 40 children
• Support to the poorest families with basic products
• Promote the culture of their traditions since childhood with the dance group.

Throughout these years the foundation has also carried out some very interesting cultural activities: a charity concert in which they got 740 Euros, which were a great help for the project, also a play by the Antzoki Teatteri company, “The Bernarda Alba's house ”with students from the last year of the Eòlia high school of dramatic art, with a collection of 1,060 euros, as well as a successful charity concert in the Luz de Gas site from Barcelona.

Also in 2014 an association of dentists made a donation of 60 packs consisting of toothbrushes, paste and a small hourglass. Throughout 2013-2017 solidarity trips were organized to get to know the project, and at the same time collaborate with an economic contribution among all the participants in the trip.

Aid from individuals and volunteers in 2017 such as Imma and Ramses, mother and son who raised enough money to buy school supplies and private companies such as Jovi that regularly give away their products. At the end of 2017 the Somriure Humil Association granted them 6,400 aid euros for the annual maintenance of the school.

Thanks to all this, actually they have a new dance teacher for the continuity of the new dance group.

The project is spectacular and maintains the purity of this kind of solidarity initiatives that know that everything counts and that the important thing is to contribute, the quantity doesn't matter, what really matters is doing things to make this world a more human and safer place for everyone.

Una Escuela para todos

En los países desarrollados nos parece obvio que los niños puedan disponer de una escuela para su debida formación bien sea pública o privada.Pero lamentablemente eso no es así en muchos rincones de este planeta.

Ese fue el caso una aldea de Keov Mony Pursat - Camboya-, hasta que un grupo de personas concienciadas de esta necesidad se fijaron en ellos y buscaron soluciones. La Fundació Ajudantajudar son los promotores de esta gran iniciativa.(Helpingtohelp.org).

La aldea de Keov Mony está ubicada en la provincia de Pursat, a unos 200 km de Phnom Penh, la capital del país.Es una aldea formada por repatriados de los campos de refugiados del ACNUR (Agencia de la ONU para refugiados) situados en Tailandia.

Desde 2012 y hasta 2014, la maestra a petición de los padres de la aldea, impartía clases en la parte baja de su casa, para niños de 2 a 6 años de edad.

En julio del año 2014 cinco jóvenes voluntarios de Barcelona construyeron la pequeña escuela en la aldea, con un coste aproximado de 2.700, que recaudaron vendiendo rosas. Viajaron a Camboya y construyeron la nueva escuela en los terrenos de casa de la maestra.

Desde entonces se han realizado numerosas actuaciones para seguir recaudando fondos, mejorando las instalaciones y facilitando material para los niños.

La iniciativa es espectacular y siempre será bienvenida cualquier tipo de ayuda que les pueda favorecer.

• Material para aseo personal (toallas, vasos, cepillo y pasta de dientes, jabones individuales)
• Personal para atender a 40 niños: – Una maestra – Una ayudante auxiliar
• Una comida básica diaria para los más pequeños
• Farmacia
• Reparaciones varias de emergencia
• Zapatos y ropa para 40 niños
• Apoyo a las familias más pobres con productos básicos
• Fomentar la cultura de sus tradiciones desde pequeños con el grupo de baile.

A lo largo de estos años la fundación ha realizado además algunas actividades culturales muy interesantes: un concierto benéfico en el que consiguieron 740 Euros, que fueron de gran ayuda para el proyecto, también una obra de teatro realizada por la compañía Antzoki Teatteri, “La casa de Bernarda Alba” con alumnas del último curso de la escuela superior de arte dramático Eòlia, con una recaudación de 1.060 euros, así como un exitoso concierto benéfico en la sala Luz de Gas de Barcelona.

También en el 2014 una asociación de dentistas hizo una donación de 60 packs compuestos de cepillos de dientes, pasta y un pequeño reloj de arena. A lo largo del 2013-2017 se organizaron viajes solidarios para conocer el proyecto, y a la vez colaborar con una aportación económica entre todos los participantes en el viaje.

Ayudas de particulares y voluntarios en el 2017 como Imma y Ramsés, madre e hijo que reunieron el suficiente dinero para comprar material escolar y empresas como Jovi que regularmente regalan sus productos.A finales del año 2017 la Asociación Somriure Humil les concedió una ayuda de 6.400 euros para el mantenimiento anual de la escuela.

Gracias a todo ello actualmente ya cuentan con una nueva profesora de baile para la Formación continuada del nuevo grupo de baile.

El proyecto es espectacular y mantiene la pureza de ese tipo de iniciativas solidarias que saben que todo cuenta y que lo importante es aportar nuestro granito de arena para que este mundo se convierta en un sitio más humano y seguro para todos.
